2026 CSTA New York Conference

Join K–12 educators from across New York State for the 2026 CSTA New York Conference on Saturday, 11/14/26 from 9 AM – 5 PM at SUNY New Paltz.

This year’s theme is “Navigating the Ethical Frontier: Teaching CS in a World of Rapid Innovation.” Sessions will focus on AI Education, Computer Science Pedagogy, Equity, Ethics, Physical Computing, and Emerging Technology.

The eight communities of computer science teacher spread around New York -- NYC, Staten Island, Long Island, Lower-Hudson, Mid-Hudson, Capital District, North Country and Western NY -- have organized into the statewide association: CSTA New York.

CSTA New York was founded to share resources, provide opportunities for professional growth, and connect with computer science educators who understand what it means to teach in New York.

Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, all public school districts in New York State are required to implement Computer Science and Digital Fluency learning standards for all students in grade bands K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-8, and 9-12.
