Professional Development for New York CS Teachers

Statewide Online Meetings

CSTA New York hosts regular meetings that combine professional development, community sharing, and agendas focused on computer science content and pedagogy for K-12 educators. These gatherings are virtual sessions for CS teachers from across the state to gather. Meetings often feature guest speakers, and support attendees through networking, teaching resources, and opportunities for CTLE credit. The meetings aim to help teachers stay connected, share best practices, and advance CS education across diverse learning environments in New York State.

Course content includes meaningful and interactive activities focused on application to your CS classroom—you’ll do a lot more than just read and watch. Plus, you’ll experience asynchronous collaboration with other CS educators as you both give and get feedback and exchange ideas.
