Great classroom computer science teaching is the most powerful advocate for K–12 CS education because it makes learning visible, engaging, and meaningful for students. When teachers create inclusive, well-designed experiences, students develop confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging in computing. Those positive experiences naturally build sustained support from families, schools, and communities for expanding and investing in CS education.

New York Data

CSTA New York submitted a response to NYSED's proposed amendment of Section 100.2 of Regulations of the Commissioner of Education to Require Instruction in Personal Finance Education and Climate Education. This was an opportunity to reflect on the roll-out of the CS&DF Learning Standards and to refine potential future advocacy approaches.
